Patricia Alary was born in Paris in 1952.
From her early years, she knew she would be a painter.
Daughter of a civil servant, she spent her childhood in one country after an other till the beginning of the 70's.
Her quest can be described as an exploitation of the featuring of light in painting, and the translation she can give of it by all the available mediums.
Her work articulates around a series of paintings which are as many families to develop her subject.
